You should start with the basic emergency first aid courses like CPR and general first aid. If you have infants, pets or seniors in your home you can take classes that correspond to their individual needs.
Many people do not realize how easy it is to be prepared to do emergency first aid. You can receive your first aid certification in just a few hours. To receive your first aid certification you will have to take CPR and a basic first aid training class. Once you have completed these you can go on to different classes if you would like. However, if you have these two classes under your belt you are equipped to deal with an emergency first aid situation.
